Nitrous Whippets
Inhalants are drugs that produce a quick, temporary high, dizziness and euphoria (good feeling) when their vapors or gases are inhaled and absorbed into the body through the lungs. The top is sometimes the feeling drunk compared. It tends to be only a short time, from minutes to about three quarters of an hour. There can be complications such as an alcohol hangover, such as dizziness, headache, nausea, and lasts an hour or two are observed.
Compared to other drugs, inhalants are readily available and relatively cheap. Many of them can be legally purchased by minors, for more than a thousand common household products can be used to gain height. It is partly for this reason and partly because they mistakenly believed to be safer than other drugs, inhalants are especially popular among children and adolescents.
The average age at which adolescents first try these drugs is to use 13, and one in five eighth graders. Dangerous and potentially deadly in its own right, inhalants often also act as a gateway to other harder drugs.
What are the main types?
There are three main types of inhalants:
Organic solvents are liquid compounds of carbon, breaking the power to resolve, or have other carbon compounds. Organic solvents are also highly volatile, they easily from a liquid to a gas or aerosol which can evaporate be inhaled.
Many popular products are either organic solvents or contain high concentrations of them. These include gasoline, lighter fluid and butane lighter fluid, spray paint, paint thinners and removers, transparent glue, rubber cement thinner, hair spray, nail polish, degrease and detergent products. Organic solvents are easier to inhale and bring the best to be dangerous abuse.
Nitrites are compounds of nitrogen and act mainly as ventilators, which relax the walls of blood vessels, allowing for larger vessels or wide. They are medically to relieve attacks of chest pain angina due to insufficient blood flow to the vessels serving the heart uses. They also tend to suppress the activity of the central nervous system, producing giddiness and euphoria of a big one.

What can inhalants harm?
Since the immediate post-effects are usually mild and last only a short time, believe that inhalants are essentially harmless offenders. You are wrong. Inhalants can be very dangerous, both in their immediate and their long-term consequences.
Short-term effects

Organic solvents are the most dangerous of all inhalants. You are able to produce toxins, organic compounds of all kinds, including those living in those cells. Once absorbed into the body, they tend in the liver and kidneys, where they are processed for disposal of concentrate. Be repeated, severe abuse seriously damage these organs and the heart and the nervous system.
What are the signs of abuse?
Some evidence suggests that a person abusing inhalants:
1. A sweetish, chemical smell on clothing or body.
2.Inflammation of the nose, frequent nosebleeds, or rash around the nose and mouth.
3.Loss of appetite and weight loss.
4.Pale, bluish skin.
5.Watery, bloodshot eyes with dilated pupils.
6.Slow, slurred speech.
7.Clumsy, staggering gait, and drunken appearance.
